What I have found out...
On my last thread, I was asking if anyone would know if a PAM 111's sec hand should stop if the crown is pulled to change time. Well, I went to the AD yesterday. All of their hand wound in stock (PAM 5, 177, 113 and another 111) does not stop when the crown is pulled. Only the autos stops. I thought I'd share the info with the community.

My New / Old 50mm Skagen: Lots of pictures and a story...
This watch has really been a fun adventure. 1) I was originally given this Skagen Dive watch by a good friend. They had not worn it for years and the rubber strap had literally cracked in half and fallen off. The watch had been sitting in a drawer for over 5 years. All they could tell me was that it was about 10 years old and originally had been sold at Sharper Image back in the day. What was really interesting was the size of the watch. It is 45mm from bezel edge to edge and 50mm if you include the extended case and crown. It is also heavy. Considering the reported age of the watch, it's size was unusual for a watch that was a decade old. Most importantly, I just really liked the overall look of the case design, bezel, and dial look. 2) I emailed Skagen directly and only received a vague email back from them that I had an old old model that was no longer made. They did not help at all and never emailed me back again when I asked additional questions. 3) I then posted pictures of the w

Please Help with my newest acquisition.
My newest acquistionIf anyone has any history or information on this watch it would be greatly appreciated. The watch maker who serviced it thought it was circa 1940's. The face is a linen material with diferent shades of brown and gold. It's really very stunning in person....please help me with any history of this interesting piece since we don't have a vintage forum for pieces like this....Thanks Everyone!
