This looks very nice. I dislike the faux patina though. Same movement as the original 1993 too.https://.hodinkee/articles/pa...mm-introducingThanksEverett
This is just a quick question that I had while I was exploring the Rolex website.IIRC, the new WG Pepsi with blue dial originally was shown with WHITE GMT hands, as you can see in the first attachment; However, I see that their website has a new image of the WG Pepsi, now with RED GMT hands...(As you can see in the second attachment)Was this just a small mistake by Rolex (i.e. not putting in colors right on Photoshop), or was there an actual change, and Rolex has decided to change the color of GMT hands back to Red? (i.e. due to the bad feedback from customers, etc.)
Thirteenth edition of the VERSUS post/picture. What is VERSUS? Well, I thought it would be fun to compare two watches (and only those two watches) and discuss pros/cons by outlining the differences and getting folks' ideas/thoughts/opinions on TRF. We got folks here that have been collecting and studying these things for decades all the way to those who are just starting to venture into the crazy world of Rolex (and everyone in between). Therefore, it would be fun and educational! For this edition, we have a showdown of the classic Datejust. These are semi-modern references and the two most common configurations; the stainless steel reference 16234 and two-tone reference 16233.Which do you prefer and why?Previous VERSUS:1.
