This may be a dumb question but, here goes anyway. Could someone give me some insight into the 987A? I am looking for some parts for one and am having a hard time finding many suitable donors. The watch models with that movement seem to go higher at auction than I might expect. I know the 987A was used in a large number of WW2 military watches. But, am I missing something here? Rob

New Arrival - PAM 392
New PAM 392 in the house. I've often considered getting a Panerai, but I could never decide on which one. There's several models that I like a lot for different reasons, but since I'm not in a position to buy more than one, I could never decide which was "the one". That is until now. The 392 incorporates almost all of the things I was hoping to get in a Panerai (e.g. sandwich dial, in house movement, 1950 style case) and does it all in a 42mm case, which is a very versatile and proportioned size for my 6 3/4" wrist. I didn't even know this watch existed until yesterday, and when I tried it on I knew immediately that it was the one for meproof of that is that I had no intention of buying a watch yesterday, but that's how much this one drew me in.I can't say enough about the 1950 case design. I've always liked it, but after spending time with it on my wrist, I have a new appreciation of how beautiful it is. I'm finding it hard to not keep staring at it. The only other watch I've

Bought a Rolex Explorer last week and I love it. Over the last few days the bracelet appears to be squeaking. It is probably just requiring a bit of lubrication but any thoughts on how to sort?
