So, I sold the BLNR...
...and almost immediately regretted it. Lots of reasons for selling, but I like to flip and change things up, and we had a good run. And prices seems to be up right now, so why not?The problem was, I did it on kind of a whim, and had no backup plan. It was my only watch! Sure, I have an old Seiko that appears to be about 34mm and is beat up, has an uncomfortable aftermarket strap with a deployment buckle that I can never seem to deploy. And I forgot how much I dislike Quartz watches. They give off a magnetic flux that interferes with the voices in my head.So, what to do? Well, I've had Omegas in the past, and thought I'd go there again, and after some research and shopping, I got the black ceramic Seamaster pictured below. I like the heft, the look and it wears well. It's not a Rolex, by no means, but it also cost less than a new Tudor, or an OP, or pretty-much anything that we Rolex aficionados would want.Omega has finally moved away from those gawd-awful pins in the bracelet

Hi everyoneI'm considering buying an Omega Seamaster 300 M Chronometer black (212.30.41.20.01.002) and I'm wondering whether it is possible to order one with a transparent case back?The reason I'm asking is because my friend bought a Seamaster 300 M GMT (2535.80.00) with transparent case back and the Omega website don't show the GMT with transparent case back (.omegawatches/index.ph...000&no_cache=1). So I'm wondering if it is possible to order transparent case back as an extra to all of Omega's watches./ Michael

My Visit to the Panerai Manufacture - Pics & Vids!
I have been meaning to finally share this awesome experience with all of you but I have been super busy so I wasn't able to finally do the write up until now. On my latest trip to SIHH in Geneva I was invited out to visit the Officine Panerai Manufacture in Neuchatel. Previously no one has been allowed to take pictures or videos from the factory but I was granted special access, so these are some of the first images to make it out to everyone.
