Each of us has our own reasons for choosing an Omega. Here's your chance to tell us why. Me? I like the simple utilitarian elegance of the Seamaster Ocean Planet and the fact that a reputable watch repair merchant told me that he can immediately see the quality factor (materials, workmanship, etc.) when he opens up a 20 year old Omega vs. a 20 year old Rolex. Let's hear yours.....
Hi everyone! I just recently found this forum and I want to say I'm excited about being a valuable member of this community!I received an Oris Artix Complication from my parents for my 30th birthday this year. As I'm sure most of you know the crown only pulls out to the first position. This allows you to change the time forward or backward. To change the day, month, date, and moon phase there are four corresponding quick set holes at the four corners of the watch. A special pin came with the watch to deploy each button in each hole to move the day, month, date, or moon phase forward (depending on which hole you are pushing). Before I proceed forward with my question I am aware that you should not move the time backward or change the day, month, date, or moon phase with the quick set buttons between the hours of 9pm and 3am. Anytime before or after is fair game.Well, as you know April only has 30 days in it. Last night I took my watch off the winder to use the date quick set button to mo
Hello All!I have been looking for buying a new clock. i didn't want to spend more than 150 dollars. and suddenly i found this unknown clock and i ordered it.Kenneth Cole KC1778 New York Chronograph Mens Stainless Watchup.vatandownload/images/x...mrmcefecox.jpgWhats is your opinion about this clock? its appearance and cost?!
Just arrived today with my first ever Lange. And probably the only day that all of my Patek's have all been in the same location.Excuse the sealed watches they won't be sealed forever!
I've got a Nautilus 5712 and AC 5146G. I've wanted to add an Aquanaut 5167 for some time now. First in queue or so my AD tells me. Earlier this week I found a double sealed 5167 (and a double sealed 5711) in the grey market, and turned them down 😫My reasons for doing so:1) I had told my AD I would get the 5167 from them. No deposit placed but had asked that I get the next one they have. So a gentlemen's agreement if you will. 2) My 5712 was ordered by someone else who changed their mind before taking delivery. I met him at a different AD and took delivery of the watch. But I could tell that the buying experience was sub par as I wasn't the AD's customer. 3) I want to establish a long term relationship with my AD as I think that'll have long term returns.Anyone else let go of watches for the sake of loyalty and a better buying experience?
