IWC IW37605 wrist watches news:
I took my SEAMASTER 300M CHRONO(circa 2000) for an overhaul to Omega boutique in NYC. When I spoke to a girl on the phone she quoted me $375-up for my watch. When I brought the watch in she told me $530-up but I should leave it and I would be given the correct price estimate in a few days. What i don't understand is on Omega website pricing starts at CHF390(roughly the same in USD) for current calibers. Is my watch considered current caliber? There's a pdf chart on their site:omega.ch/fileadmin/Custom..._list_2009.pdf Can someone please tell me which of these mysterious numbers belongs to my watch and how much I should expect to pay? I'd like to be armed with some info next time that girl starts to pull repair prices out of her er...thin air. Thanks in advanceMike
As we have seen recently the Submariner received its upgrades and from the leaked video the Explorer II looked like it been looked at next for a refresh. The Daytona still remains an iconic watch even though due to the financial crisis it lost its rarity aura. I like the current Daytona with its polished bezel and its silver subdials. But with the Tudor receiving a retro look, I wouldnt mind seeing the Daytona get a slight face lift.I would like to see the Daytona get a all black bezel like the vintage 6264. It may dull the watch a little bit but I think it would good. Glidelock clasp would be a nice addition and Red lume for a different look. With Rolex updating models in their line up with new features (Glidelock clasp, Ceramic Bezel, Chromalight etc) what would you like to see happen with the iconic Daytona?
I have found this in some old drawers...It's very classy, I like it a lot
Thinking of picking one up this summer as it captured my attention when I finally saw one in person, but I'm wondering how it will wear long-term. Anyone have one for awhile and either get tired of it (or not)? How versatile do you find it? Just looking for some thoughts. Thanks!
I decided to rejoice with Omega and what better example thanSaw one in the flesh on vacation and had to pull the trigger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
