IWC 3707 wrist watches news:
This year we've got two new additions to the Seiko family of entry and mid-level diver's watches. These are the new-to-the-Prospex line, cushion-cased-shaped dive watches, which for the U.S. market, currently consists of two references: SRP775 (with bracelet) and SRP777 (on a silicon rubber strap). Seiko's entry level dive watches have probably been the first automatic mechanical watch for more future watch enthusiasts than any other type of watch (except possibly the Seiko 5) and with good reason: they represent a combination of honesty, practicality, durability, and history that, along with a price that puts them in reach for anyone with an interest in mechanical watches, makes them a no-brainer. So how well do the new models measure up to the classics? Let's take a look. 1 OF 12 Before getting started on the watches, a bit about Seiko nomenclature. The vintage Seiko divers that the new Prospex models most resemble are the cushion-cased 6306/9, 150-meter
hello,I'm Currently in russia doing an internship at raketa, so I wanted, as I only have a week left, to share some tips and informations about raketa to you, fellow watch lovers out there. So if you have any question about raketa or russian watchmaking in general, dont hesitate! its always a pleasure.
Hi,I am a new member and I have a technical question. I have ordered a Deep Blue Pro Diver 1K. This watch uses a Miyota 8205 movement, which does not hack. Is it safe to use back-pressure on the crown to stop the second hand when syncing the watch? If this question has been asked before, please point me to the thread.Thanks.pskling
Hey Folks:When considering a watch, what criteria do you include. Some for me are case design, smoothness of operation, easy to handle crown w/out any wobbliness.I figure I'll kick it off and we can create a nice checklist for watch shopping.
..........results in a most pleasant little outing.
