Chronoswiss has teamed up with master craftsman Jochen Benzinger to create a series of 3 limited edition watches that showcase the arts of skeletonizing, engraving and guilloche to great effect. Known as Edition Zeitzeichen or ¡°Signs of the Times Edition¡±, each model will be produced in a series of just 33 pieces. Each piece measures 44mm x 10.8mm and each is available in 18k red or white gold. I know that the word expensive means different things to different people, but I'd say the majority of the population would say that $1,500 and up, possibly less, is expensive for a watch.So, I made the choice long ago to own a larger variety of more affordable watches rather than picking out just a couple of watches that represent the same expenditure. Since watches, to me anyway, are long time purchases, I don't think I could find one, two or even three watches that would satisfy my love of watches. There are just too many styles and variety within styles for me to prefer a couple of more expensive watches over a much more diverse collection of moderately priced ones.Some of you are fortunate enough (fortunate isn't the right word, because I'm sure it's more due to hard work, drive and dedication) to be able to have as wide a variety of higher end watches - and more power to you!I don't really know the point of this mindless blathering, so feel free to ignore it.
