The watch’s name comes from its “Auf/Ab” circular power-reserve indicator at 12 o’clock, which displays to the wearer how much of the watch’s 56-hour power reserve remains before it stops. In the classical Glash¨¹tte watchmaking tradition, “Auf” (meaning “up”) means that the movement is fully wound, while “Ab” (“down”) means that is has fully run down. When Jean-Fr¨¦d¨¦ric Dufour took the reigns at Zenith in 2009, he shifted the brand away from over-the-top styling with a “back to basics” message and an emphasis on product. Speaking with WatchTime’s Norma Buchanan for her profile Inside Guy in the December issue, Dufour said “I will devote all my energy, all my money, to El Primero, to make Zenith different from the others.” True to his word, Zenith launches the El Primero Tourbillon. Khaki King II Automatic (Black)-What's it worth?
Hello Everyone,I have a Khaki King II Auto in black with a black leather Di-modell band with white stitching that I purchased in December 2004. I am interested in selling it and do not know what it would possibly be worth. I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas? I purchased it at an authorized Hamilton dealer here in Albuquerque, NM. The same dealer did a full-service for me in September 2006 and did a check-up for me in December 2008. I have kept it in great condition and store it in a polishing cloth when I am not wearing it. It has a few minor nicks on the bezel but nothing major. The sapphire crystal is spotless (of course).Any ideas? I paid $325 for it and now they are charging close to $500 for them.Thank you!

BLNR used market
I'm confused.No one can buy a BLNR, none of the dealers have them in stock, demand is high, etc. Or so they say. Yet there are plenty for sale both used and BNIB here in the forum and they don't seem to move very quickly. Nice condition watches for slightly above and below $8K sit, unloved and unwanted, for months. New ones, priced around $8600 (give or take) loiter in the listings.Me, personally, I'm still waiting, watching, debating, wondering. Any ideas on what's going on?
