IWC 3510 wrist watches news:
Hi - new to this forum, still learning and would greatly appreciate the expertise of others. I am (maybe unfortunately) plagued by concern about details and therefore worrying a little...I just purchased a 1958/1959 Omega Seamaster from a store on ebay. The seller is not a watchmaker, but rather an antiques dealer. All my research indicates this is an original watch with correct face (light patina) matching case ref to the movement and serial number matching to date of case. The logo and graphics also match what I found on Omega Vintage database. So everything reasonably seems correct (even though the Omega database seems to have some gaps). The seller must have taken the watch to a watchmaker to have the case back removed for photos of the movement, as its a press-in type. My question is in regard to missing case clamps and screws. In the photos these are clearly missing. The movement is a calibre 520 with case reference: 2964 - 2970. My concern is how critical are their absence? Doe
When using any watch, I always shake my wrist, as I don't like the watch to stick in the skinalso I use it somehow loose, not too much, but neither too tightI think that this will be fine with automatic watches, but what about analog quartz? as I think that there are moving parts, and that can be somehow damaged with the shakeor not?

Ok i'm crazy but who knows??Mr Wonderful Stern...I've been dreaming of this watch since its presentation for the 175th. The 5575GI'm not a big collector (meaning i don't have the means yet to spend hundred of thousands on my daily desires, aka the 5970s/5270s, the 5204s, the 5370 etc)I don't have the willing, or the means, to pay double its price on chrono24.My collection is composed of only rolex (sub, daytona and iwc galapagos). But i still dream of looking everyday into this chilling moon.I still dream of which city i'll think of visiting when reading the worldtimer cities. And i still dream of those little stars that are sparkling and would make me feel a little star in the Patek universe too.i'll also tell you why acquiring THIS amazing worldtimer has a meaning to me.I'm even ready to knock on your office door to express my love to the Patek brand! I'm going to be 40 in a few weeks and I wanna reach this milestone with this incredible watch. After praying to the Gods of Patek, aka, M
So I've been offered a 5726 on bracelet and a 5712r. I don't want both. I like the Rose gold on the 5712r but don't like the power reserve or the fact it has no date or sweep seconds. The cons on the 5726 are it's not precious metal and I feel the case would be too similar to my Aquanaut. But I like the annual calendar and the layout of the dial.Tough decision. I'm buying one. Both brand new from AD. Help!
