First Watch! Love some advice on a dress watch
First off its great to join this forum! There is so much excellent information on this site. I am looking at getting my first "nice" watch since I just got out of college. I would primarily be wearing this watch for work in an office but would also like it to function as a semi-casual watch to wear out. The criteria that I have set for myself is >$500, dress watch, leather strap (preferably black) and I'm looking for something that is more classic in appearance. Picking up my first Rolex on Thursday.I explained that I would likely require an extra link however the saleswoman was a bit surprised at this and that it would need to be ordered in. I thought this seemed a little odd and would have expected them to at least have a couple available.She said we would see how we got on and didn't seem keen to order this in advance however I knownfor certain I'll need at least 1 extra link.
