Hi FolksYou may remember i was given a james bond casino royale limited edition a few months ago as a present.Well!. was in town today, and looked in the jewellers window and they had the new james bond one there, i was interested, but the one next to it i preferred!, so i went in, and they were most helpful, and i ended up buying the Chronograph, i think it is the james bond one also, although it isnt limited edition, they even knocked 200 pounds off the price, so i couldnt resist.Heres the link to the one it is until i post pics omegawatches/index.ph...001&no_cache=1I will add pictures in a minute!Matt
New to Oris and thinking of getting a Pro Diver. I see there looks like a gap where the crown goes into the case. I must believe that these diving watches are water proof right? Also is the movement of this watch reliable? Thanks,ScottI like the looks of this one:here is a pic of what looks like a gap near the crown: (But I am sure it is water tight!)
...eBay item #220937418678, that closed yesterday. That watch had a Lady Hamilton movement Grade 983 in a Star Case Co. "Stellar" cushion shape case. Movement has serial number 1.25M, from about 1918.Is this a correct case for the watch, or was it recased at one point? I thought that these fancy porcelain-dialled watches were supposed to have fixed lug cases. In interest of disclosure, I was an underbidder on this auction. But I'm always looking to learn a little more.Any ideas out there?gatorcpa
So i just got my new AT skyfall on here from the forums. All new with all stickers attached. Took it in today to get it sized at Omega Boutique and when I brought it back home I noticed they also installed a nice line of scratch across the crystal (dial) in front. I am so sad that this watch was new and I know for fact that when i got it didn't have anything on it. I don't know what to do? I know the guys at the boutique and they are so nice to me. As a matter of fact i am buying an seamster 300 master coaxial from them tomorrow? how do i bring this up? what would you do? Sorry i couldn't take a picture of it sense its to hard to get in the photo but I believe the scratch is on the anti reflective i donno for sure though. when i run my nails across it it catches so i can't tell if it is the AR or not.I also post this on the omega forum. but I need some quick advice sense I am going back tomorrow.
