Womans Omega 1961 620 Movt, How Much Is This Watch Worth?
Hello: Awhile Back I bought at a thrift shop a Women OMEGA Mechanical 2 hand watch. This watch is Gold Plated 20 Microns.Well Today I was able to open it up & using the Omega Vint Web site, I saw that this watch is from 1961, 620 Movt, serial # 18225274 17 jewel watch. I must say the Movt is BEAUTIFUL BABY!!! :)Now the watch runs nicely, its clean (I cleaned it when I got it). I was wondering how to figure out how much the watch is worth IF I wanted to sell it, My wife & my mom do not want it, this watch is sharp? A visit with my first WIS friend... GTG
Dear TRF Friends...Please allow me to share this great story with you about my recent GTG in Colombo, Sri Lanka.Before I begin I would like to tell you how I meet Michael (ap_mike)... Michael and I meet on a watch forum about 5 1/2 years ago when we were both new to collecting watches. We then had the opportunity to meet in person at a big Rolex GTG in London 5 years ago where our friendship grew at a more personal level. Over the years as our passion for watches grew we consulted each other on different brands and watches we were persuing... From Omega to Rolex to AP and PP...So last week I had the opportunity to meet up with Michael as I was operating a flight into Colombo. We had a great time catching up and sharing our small watch collection with each other... Here are a few snaps from our GTG...This was my very first overnight stay in Colombo Sri Lanka... It's an absolutely beautiful country... I only wish I had a few more days to travel around!Over looking the Indian Ocean...

I��m totally out of touch with the cost of this hobby but yesterday I glide into Jaceks site for a little browse around and saw a very nice SM 300 and was shocked at the 17K + price tag. My own SM 300 is not in the same league as Jaceks but anyone care to enlighten me about todays price levels?
