Chopard 158570-3001 wrist watches news:
Looking for something in between $500-1000$ Canadian, preferably some perhaps all black in colour.I am not to familiar with watches let alone brands, a list of some solid brands would be nice, european made please no asian crap.Any reply will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
And it is a great all dress down watch and the brushed case and band makes it real military like as well as those stenciled numbers
I stopped by the Omega boutique in L.A. last week...and got into a nice discussion of the Speedmaster Professional with the staff. I've been a fan of that watch since I was nine--back in early 1974, when my father bought one and explained its significance in the Apollo missions. The reason I was at the boutique was to pick up that very watch, now sporting a black leather strap, a change up from the original bracelet. The technician brought out a brand new Speedmaster. Not the Professional, but the 2012 reissue of the First Omega in Space. Slightly smaller. Lemania movement. Manual wind. Brown leather strap. Sapphire crystal, a nod to the present technology. I tried it on. Perfect fit! The Professional is just a little bit on the large size for me. Certainly wearable, but not ideal. This Speedmaster, though, seemed made for me!No discounts at a boutique, but they did sweeten the deal with a few incentives, including full service in my old Speedmaster Professional with no charge. Hi guys,I am new here and came on to ask some Rolex questions but found the Omega section and thought I would post a pic of one of my vintage babies. This is one in my collection, all vintage and I would be happy to post more rare Omegas including one of the 12 original wrist Tourbillions and a rare platinum bent lug Connie. This watch is one of a pair that includes a rare Rolex GMT. They were given to me by the daughter of the 3 sultan of Malaysia.Enjoy,Farel
Hey Guys,I'm on the hunt for a daily wearer. I'm new to the higher end watch game, and am by no means an expert on movements, etc. I stumbled upon the Pelagos a few weeks ago and really like it. My preference is for black and therefore I have the the option of both v1 and v2. To be honest, I'm not sure that I have any preference when it comes to the various differences. 2 lines vs 5 lines, in house vs ETA, etc. I guess I maybe prefer the 2 lines but it's not a deal breaker. The in house movement seams nice with the larger power reserve, but the ETA is maybe simpler to service down the road and will do what I need it to do. I've found used v1's to be around $2,500. Used v2's a little over $3k. I'm leaning towards saving the money and going v1. Thoughts?
