Cartier W31029M7 wrist watches news:
I have a 353 calibre Seamaster of my father's, which the serial number dates to about 1952. I recently decided to start wearing it as an everyday watch. It was running slow about 2 minutes over 24 hours and, since I had no idea when it had been opened last, I finally took it in for a cleaning and oiling. On getting it back it ran great on my wrist, only losing a few seconds over my day at the office and continuing right up until I went to bed. I always give it about 10 winds to make sure it ran overnight, as I wasn't convinced my desk job provided enough movement for the bumper winding. As I said, pre-cleaning it was about two minutes slow but the next morning but now its 20-25 minutes behind. I've left it on its back, on its face and on it side (9:00 down) but it doesn't seem to matter. Over the weekend I gave it about 40 winds and left it from about 8:00 am on Saturday morning. Up to 11:00 pm or so when I went to bed it was pretty close against my quartz Timex. Overnight, to
My first post..hello all. I recently had the 1530 passed down to me and I am giddy about it. I was shocked when I discovered how rare it is. So..it doesn't fit me and being as rare as it is I have come to the conclusion that it will be extremely difficult to find a link or two. So I have two questions. What direction should I go about locating some links?Does my 96660 bracelet have interchangeable links with the 17000 bracelet? Thanks in advance for the help.
Hey,Could I check, is it possible to get the seconds hand to stop while setting the time for a ROC?

Just wondering if anyone out there knows how much does engraving on the caseback can decrease the value of a rolex during resale? I was told by a rolex resaler that if they can buff it out it may decrease value by $100. Of course when I asked about what if they can't buff it out they can't give me a straight answer. Anyone have a ballpark idea? Can they just change the caseback? Thanks in advance!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
