Panic Time: I think Speedy not running long...
GROUND CONTROL TO MAJOR TOM...Okay, this morning I discovered my Speedy stopped at approx. 4:30am.I thought I wound it yesterday morning which means it should be running fine.I'm panicking that something is wrong with it. I wound it approximately 26 times at 8:00am this morning so I'll have to monitor it.Anyone have thoughts on this? HELP!!! Karma caught up on me for posting those astronaut pics!Is there somewhere I can get instructions to send it to Bienne for repair? I don't want to send it to New Jersey since I've heard nothing but bad things about it.

big pilot strange sound
I bought a big pilot and it is making a sound as if a little screw is floating around in the casing when I shake it and hold it close to my ear. I went back to the dealer to check it out and he had the tech guy open the watch to look at it. Tech guy says it is normal when the power save is on 7 days that the calibre makes that sound, but I still wonder if it is really ok,it is kind of a irritating noise and cheapens the IWC pilot experienceany of you have had a similar issue?much appreciated for any respons regarding thisthanksmarc

Frustrated with the forums
Warning: this is a rant.I know that Vintagehamiltons and Adam78 have also raised the problems with the "new and improved" WTF, but as of now I am to the point where I almost don't want to bother.Initially I thought it was my computer(s), but I read several other blogs/forums daily, and no other site does these things to me on such a regular basis. The number of database errors, timed outs, etc. that I'm getting make this site practically unbearable. I honestly don't see what the new site can offer me that the old one did not. I see a facebook link, but I don't use that site and don't intend to start. I see more advertising (at least when I am able to surf through the various pages ), and I guess that is fine since it probably helps to fund site operations. All I want to do is be able to chat about and look at old Hamilton watches. I for one would vote to dump the new site and put it back to the way it was. Just wondering what the overall frustration level is within this forum, and whet
