IWC IWC 35183 wrist watches news:
This is the UTTE watch by Arnold & Son, and apparently it is the world's thinnest tourbillon. The trend of watches getting ever chunkier year after year seems to live on without disturbance - but the race for the ultimate in finesse and subtle elegance can be just as stirring as well and the manufacture of Arnold & Son is here to prove that point by releasing something to excite those who admire such fine treats of horology. With their ?double-balance?and earlier on with the?inside-out?watches they made it pretty clear that they are everything but?shy when it comes to reaching beyond the strict frontiers of fine watch making. Now, however, they have ventured onto violent waters, proudly possessed by one of the ultra-thin greats: Piaget.Technical extravagance is sometimes easier to achieve than creating something strictly abiding rules and borders - and when one sets himself to the challenge of originating something that's ultra-thin (the thinnest ever, in fact), suddenly those
The Linde Werdelin 2-Timer watch (that I reviewed here) is growing up to be the 3-Timer. The differences are enough shed new light on a watch that had never even lost a sparkle of shine. With the 3-Timer you get a more elegant look with less emphasis on sport, heading into the, ¡°this watch goes with a suit¡± range. Wearing the 2-Timer with business attire would make you look a bit like a superhero with a secret identity who accidentally forgot to remove one of their outfit components.Linde Werdelin has created a totally new dial with a textured face, with new hour indicators that are smaller and designed to be ¡°more soothing on the eyes.¡± The GMT hand has also been redesigned and is now more classic looking with its long arrow-tipped look. Inside the watch, the ETA 2893-A2 movement features an easy set GMT complication that moves the GMT hand around in one hour increments for precise adjustments which makes it very convenient. The name 3-Timer refers to the fact that you can track up to
I just picked up this vintage IWC Schaffhausenautomatic SS watch and I know nothing about it, yet. I was hoping my local jeweler could take the back off for me so I could get the serial number, movement no., etc., but he felt it better that I send it to my watch guy and let him handle it. It obviously needs a new crystal but is otherwise running very strong. I will leave it up to the watch specialist to decide what work it needs, but in the meantime, any chance anyone can give me some information just from these few photos? My curiousity is killing me! Thanks.
Here she is guys!So happy I made this decision! Picked it up BNIB, latest P series.47mm 1950 case in all titanium, sapphire crystal front and back, 3 day in house movement....The watch feels just perfect on the wrist. My wife's words - that watch is so....you! So here's a few quick shots. I'll post some better one's when I have some more time. Had to share my excitement.
Surprised we didn¡¯t see a price increase on the Daytona.
