Omega: Eliminating the Speedmaster?
I have heard rumors of a new model of the Speedmaster with an enamel dial and an automatic coaxial movement that Omega plans to introduce next year.I have been hearing rumors that this modern Speedmaster with an MSRP of $8,500 USD will be replacing the classic Speedmaster as Omega tries to get their watches priced equally to Rolex.I have also read that Omega might simply want to cancel the classic Speedmaster for a few years only to bring it back later (in 4 or 5 years) as a "Special Edition" costing more money.Is there any validity behind these rumors? Does anyone have a picture of the new $8,500 USD Speedmaster?Will Omega cancel the classic Speedy to bring it back later as a "Special Edition"?

AT "Teak" Dial Similar to Old Datejust?
Ran across this photo of an old datejust with a vertical striped dial. Actually I really like it and it is somewhat reminiscent of the Omega AT with the teak vertical dial. The AT will probably be my next purchase, BTW. Love this watch and miss my 2500 series AT.

Understated?
Just acquired this WG DD 40 and I'm really enjoying it; the size, craftsmanship, heft, glow of the WG, etc, etc.I feel like it's a really understated piece. I wear it with dress shirts as well as tee shirts and feel like it really flies under the radar, looking much like a garden-variety DJ or maybe even a knock-off to the non-WIS.The wife feels differently, calling it maybe a little blingy.Thoughts?
