IWC IW371447 wrist watches news:
Today, it falls upon one of my favorite Hamiltons to mark the hours, minutes and seconds of my day. I haven't figured out what to call it yet but somebody once pointed out how much it resembles the Patek Calatrava, which I will link to from one of our forum sponsors to show just how true that is.eRelyx
hey guys, wondering if my baby has an issue. My watch was stopped so I wound it last night then set the time. a few hours later I noticed that the time was unchanged but I heard the watch ticking. I fiddled with the crown and the watch started to keep time and has since then. The question is - if the crown was pulled out (or more likely, not securely in position A / 1) would the minute hand advance? Im hoping this isn't a service issue. Thanks for taking a read.
but I can't get the 44mm ceramic bezel out of my mind. I've been after one since they first came out. And my diver filled the void for a while, but I think j need the 44. The diver is a BEAUTIFUL watch. So sell made and refined for a dice watch but I have huge wrists and need that size. Keep both? Trade plus cash? Sell the diver while they are hot and hope to find a smokin deal on the 44? What to do!!! These are the things that keep my up after a wonderful thanksgiving! Hope you all had a great Holliday. I am thankful for my watch collection and my friends who I have made through it. We are all lucky people to play with such wonderful toys.
I recently sold my GMT2C and have been looking around for a replacement. In the past I had a 42mm PO and gave it to a business partner. Yesterday I found out it was stolen out of his truck about a year ago. I loved the watch, but found that I liked the oyster bracelet of the Rolex much more to my liking. But I am torn. In my search for a replacement I find myself returning over and over again to the Planet Ocean. I miss the lume. The lume on the GMT2 was great for about 5 minutes - the PO like a torch for a lot longer. And I love the versatility of the rubber and I just recently just started doing searches on the mesh - and I love the retro look! Plus the AR and the matte dial - 9 out of 10 times when I looked at the PO I didn't even know what time it was!So here is my dilemma - I have had larger watches (i.e. Panerai and a couple no name 47mm pilot watches) and while I do like them now and again it kinda drives me nuts having to stuff them under sleeves - especially in the winter (I am
a trusted source at an AD told me they heard directly from Rolex that as of today the BLRO has been officially retired.Take it with a grain of salt but in years past, this source has had reliable info.If true, RIP BLRO!Now, the speculation begins as to whether this means SS Pepsi? OR simply that the red and blue is retired due to the constant rumors that the bezel is difficult to produce in numbers. Time will tell and don't shoot the messenger
