IWC IW500109 wrist watches news:
HYT, the "Hydromechanical Horologists" offer a new watch model for 2015 with the HYT Skull ¨C coming in two versions. If you are a bit confused by how to read the brand's newest watch, then worry not, so was I. What you need to know is that the dial of the HYT Skull indicates the hours, seconds, and has a power reserve indicator. That's right, the HYT Skull has no need for minutes. What, are you in a rush or something? You've got a futuristic skull on your wrist!Skull watches aren't anything new, but this is among the first futuristic skull watches we've seen. It is interesting, rather limited, and cool, but my question is why HYT decided to create a skull-themed timepiece as their third watch. The HYT Skull is based on the original HYT H1 (hands-on here), which was later followed up with the even more high-end HYT H2 (hands-on here). Following the liquid indicator theme, 2015 for HYT is all about the Skull.I'll have to speak with HYT CEO Vincent Perriard on what it is about skulls that

I have tried to search the forum, but unable to find anything.I have found (in my magic box) a Lucerne Pocket watch with a huge gold (coloured) chain about 25 inches long. A bit like the picture below. On the movement it is marked Basis swiss made 1 Jewel and Lucerne and at 6oclock, swiss made on the dial. All I can find is Basis is near Lucerne. Any light you can shed, let me know. I like to know what I have and a little bit about the companies. Thanks
I got my new Invicta resized at my favorite AD this weekend and got to thinking about it. They have never charged me to resize any bracelets there and have always been welcoming and helpful when i come in there (despite the same guy having done several of my watches and still never remembers me, lol). The guy even showed me how to make fine adjustments on the clasp which is nice because it's quite simple but I wouldn't have known. I've never paid a dime to have a watch resized there. On the contrary, I needed one of my hammies resized a while back and took it to the Hamilton AD in the same mall. They were going to charge me $25 to resize it but their machines were down so they did it free. It seems like a jeweler / AD would take advantage of a possible customer coming in and standing around. When I go to my usual stop they always show me pieces (a Baume and Mercier and a couple Tags this trip) while they adjust my bracelet. Versus the Hamilton AD who just resized my watch and didn't ev
