IWC IWC 29440 wrist watches news:
Here goes. What gives IWC a particular distinction among Swiss watches?????
I'm working on a documentary about the process of making a chronograph watch. As part of the documentary, the popularity of quartz watches in the 1970s-1980s will be discussed. I would like some assistance from Watch Talk Forums members with this documentary. I specifically need to gather at least a dozen high-quality photographs of quartz wrist watches (e.g., Seiko, Citizen) that were manufactured in the 1970s. I'm hoping that many of you collect these kinds of watches and would be willing to photograph them, particularly the battery. If you have a photo that you took of your own watch and you're interested in participating, please send me a message. I will ask you to sign a release form so that permission is given properly for your picture to be considered for inclusion. I'm happy to answer any questions related to this project within reason. Hope you'll consider helping out!
Decided to comply with the 5 yr + 2 yr Navitimer 01 warranty requirement of sending my watch in for its 2 year service.I was expecting to pay $220 as per their website. Turns out it's free. They found my watch to have low amplitude.Moral:That if it's OK don't service it mindset may not always be prudent. I may have diverted near future movement major issues by accepting a possible $220 tab. As it turns out, only incurred the $37 cost of shipping via registered mail.Projected turnaround delivery is under 4 four weeks from when I sent it in.
Hello, wanted to know if it is worth a watch collection for women used Omega Dynamic Deville Autromatic Date. Has original orange dial and acrylic glass. Thanks a lot
I've asked DavidSW for a 5711/1A-001 a couple of weeks ago and as you all , its very hard to come by, especially if you are looking for a bit of a discount. Today on my 3 day layover in London, I passed by Boodles in Knightsbridge and saw/tried this on:
