- I was looking for a streamlined & sleek watch, as opposed to the bulkier ones I own (I found myself scratching all my other watches on the walls).

Just wanted to get some thoughts on the cost of Omega Planet Ocean V Rolex Submariners! I have owned both and recently sold the Sub (2010 model) and kept the Planet Ocean = mainly due to small differences - better bracelet and easier to read.In the UK you can pick up a Planet Ocean for approx ?2300 and a Sub for around ?4000 almost double! The Planet Ocean has a 600 metre dive capacity and the Sub is 300 metre dive capacity, Co Axial for less servicing etc.,in most comparisons I read on the interent (opinion I know) the 2 watches are rated about the same.My question is - Is a Rolex Sub twice as good a Planet Ocean (as the price may suggest) or is there not much between them as I think. Is a Rolex Sub worth the extra money? and why?
Dress it up, dress it down. Rain or sun, day or night. Order of play:2 hour drive, coffee stop, lunch, shopping, get soaked in torrential rain storm, dry off, Ballet, late night dinner, 2 mile walk through deserted London streets (closed for RideLondon event), sleep, full English, another day of sightseeing and shopping, drive home. perfect. Very quick question regarding Rolex's warranty policy. I have a GMT Master II from 2016 and I just noticed something that might concern the voidance of Rolex's warranty. While the date of purchase is written in ultra fine point black pen, the name of purchaser is written in thick sharpie(looks like it was written with a white board marker). As a result, one might think that the name of purchaser was not filled together with the date at the time of purchase. Would this cause RSC to deny warranty claims for my watch in case I need to present my warranty card for service?Or would RSC not pay attention to such trivial detail as long as the warranty card is active? Thanks in advance!
