IWC IWC 51037 wrist watches news:
Whenever a new watch is released by a prestigious brand, accompanying reams of marketing material extolling a retrodden technique as unique are almost par for the course. However, with the release of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duom¨¨tre Unique Travel Time watch, one of the industry's most celebrated brands has produced something that catches the eye from all sorts of angles.Boasting an in-house calibre and a dazzling dial, this new travel companion from Jaeger-LeCoultre is genuinely something of interest. I have never seen a dial created in this exact fashion. Similar in production to hand-peening, this dial is created by a freestyle chiselling process conducted by an artisan using nothing but touch and experience as their guide. The result is an optically engaging fascia, on top of which, pleasingly muted sub-dials have been installed. There's a lot of silver on the face of this watch, which is always a touchy thing to balance well in a case of matching colour, but the monochromatic appearan
The love affair between Chopard and the Cannes Festival has lasted almost twenty years and what an affair it's been! Their relationship has been encapsulated by the Palme d’Or award as we know it now and the glittering Red Carpet Collection which epitomises the glamour of the film world and red carpet flowing down the famous Cannes steps. This half-watch half-flower oozes the sophistication you'd expect of the pairing. Its petals glitter with brilliant-cut diamonds and pink sapphires (including 34 marquise-cut gems totalling 15.26 carats) which unfurl delicately like a creeper around the 30mm white gold case. The dial sparkles with 196 diamonds and two blue dauphine-shape hands track the hours and minutes. The self-winding mechanical movement brings the watch to life whilst a sapphire briolette and six diamonds shimmer on the crown. Price: 169,800 CHF. Sharmila Bertinchopard
Hello i bought this curvex back March...the watch has been sitting in my watchmakers shop for the last too..The movement has a chipped pallet stone, but still runs and the movement is still good...the dial needs to be restored, also...The dial and movement i used for the pics go to my curvex chancellor...I love both cases alot, but i'm not going to keep changing movements back and forth...I was hoping someone has seen this case before seen an ad with it or knows the name...The inside of the case a J stamped in it as i guest is the case maker and SN reads 370-773 so the watch is from the years 50-55...maybe 51...Any info will be great, Thank you...Sorry about the pics i was doing two things at once..i'm not sure but i think the watchmaker put a dent in the case because it wasn't there before..This watch and this case is beautiful and deserves a great restoration...Hopefully i can find the right parts...Picture 040.jpgPicture 040.jpgPicture 042.jpgPicture 043.jpgPicture 044.jpgPicture 04
Greetings, My sister is about to turn 21 and I would like to surprise her with something different. She usually wears designer brand watches with the usual "wow" factor. And she prefers them large. With this in mind, I'd like to find her a German watch that parallels her style. After looking for hours, I didn't find any female options that fit her look. My budget is about $400 (give or take) and that could be the problem. But I am not looking for the top of the crop. A watch German in name only is fine.Any help?
Came across a sky dweller ss yellow gold white dial. Does anyone know if a boutique will offer any discount? Im not sure if these models are as popular as the ss models.
