Ernest Borel has launched a free iPhone app for watch aficionados as well as individuals interested in obtaining more information about the brand’s heritage and current model line-up. The app also contains information about the brand’s marketing activities and ambassadors. The application opens to show a model from the Borel Chrono Collection displaying the current time and date. Hey guys ! ! ! ! ! ! I was able to PROOVE another one of my theories today that the size 6s Elgin military dial does in FACT exist ! ! ! ! !The clues were all around me like the size 6s Philadelphia trench watch cases and a pair of size 6s Elgin military hands that I found a few months ago.BUT ! ! ! ! Where are all of the size 6s Elgin military dials ? ? ? ? ? ? ? I was starting to think that these watches just perhaps used a regular Roman numeral or Arabic numeral dials.I have NOT ever seen a size 6s American military trench watch dial, UNTIL TODAY ! ! ! ! ! !Trust me, I have searched through hell and high water for the past couple of years but over the weekend I found one ! ! ! ! ! FINALLY ! ! ! ! !And here is the kicker, IT'S DATE STAMPED ON THE BACK OF THE DIAL ! ! ! !I haven't even seen a picture of one, ANYWHERE ! ! ! ! !It still had some of the original factory lum on the dial and on the hands.The date stamp on the back of the dial: "8. 18" is for August 1918 ! ! ! ! !Take a loo

Hey everyone...first post here and part-time lurker, lol.I'm looking to purchase my first (and possibly only) Rolex and THOUGHT that I was set on the YM 116622 Dark Rhodium with the blue sweeping hand. However, the BLNR has now gotten my attention since they're both relatively close in price in the pre-owned market.I've seen posts comparing the YM Blue Dial to the BLNR, but I couldn't seem to find any posts comparing the YM Dark Rhodium Dial to the BLNR.In trying to think (and type) outloud, I've developed a short comparison between the watches and/or also what stands out to me about each watch.PROS for the YM Dark Rhodium- I like the thicker bezel and its trendy look. - The YM Dark Rhodium caught my eye because of the blue sweeping hand and the dark rhodium. It seemed to just pop out to the eye and looks awesome.- This YM is unique in that I don't think I've ever seen anyone wear this compared to me seeing more GMT's out there (even though they're mostly the BLRO Pepsi).- I like th
