- This is a good, inexpensive watch for everyday wear. I got it for my husband to wear when he swims, as it is water resistant. It is as attractive as you would expect a sports watch to be.

Invicta 15777 wrist watches news:
This is the wrist of Swiss national TT champion Fabian Cancellara thundering across the rough roads of the Strade Bianche in Tuscany. I've heard he's wearing an IWC, and it certainly looks like an Aquatimer (IW376711), but something about the bezel doesn't look right. Any takers?
I'm thinking about buying a Khaki Field Automatic Chronograph. I've been thinking about the Valjoux movement and this seems to be one of the least expensive ways to acquire one. I also like the simple style of the Khaki. Any opinions out there on this watch? Also, any opinions on buying off of the internet from a non-AD? Thanks in advance.
In 1998, Fortis produced the worlds 1st self-winding watch with not only a chronograph, but also a mechanical alarm. The extremely complicated movement was inspired by space specialists at the Star City Space Training Centre in Moscow. These complications were required by cosmonauts as they would prove to be extremely useful in space missions. As I'm sure you could imagine, a stop watch and a gentle reminder could prove useful in everyday life, let alone space travel. Taking the 380 part movement with duration for space travel, improving it by adding COSC certification, and now today, adding even more complication! Got a chance to try this new piece yesterday. It was truly a great looking piece.
Went back and forth between 42 and 46, blue or black bezel, white or black dial, etc. Stopped by an AD and tried on several. Settled on black/black 46. Blue/blue and blue/white were definitely more striking looking, but I felt like they'd get tiresome to look at after some time went by...and another flip would occur. Black/black just seems easy on the eyes, not as flashy and more likely to become a permanent stable mate.Largest watch I've ever worn (7.25 wrist), but once strapped on, for some reason it looked better to my eye than the 42mm version. That 24mm bracelet is a bit flashy, but I'm going to give it some wrist time before trying other straps...although I have two on order. Very comfortable considering size. Build quality is second to none and being only 13mm thick I suspect it will see wrist time for business and pleasure. Here she is (crappy I-phone pic):
