De Bethune Dream Watch IV iPhone 4S Luxury Case
De Bethune has released what I think is probably the most high-end and beautiful iPhone 4s case I have ever seen. They started last year I think with phone cases when they released the classy looking De Bethune DBM. That case was in alligator and has a traditionally styled clock style watch in the back of it. This new case is totally futuristic and looks like your iPhone 4S is now a spaceship. Called the Dream Watch IV, the watch dial itself build off of the one-of-a-kind watch De Bethune made for the Only Watch 2011 auction.Limited to just 12 pieces the Dream Watch IV iPhone 4S case is made out of beadblasted titanium. The finish should look amazing if I know anything about De Bethune timepieces. The watch dial itself is done in a specially colored blue titanium with diamonds and 18k white gold to look like stars. 5053R: Any red flags?
There are several of this model on the internet (known companies), all roughly the same price: 24K or so. I realize I may need to have the one I eventually buy serviced.I tried one on in local tourneau (they were asking 30K plus for one in only fair condition, no papers) and the wife and I really liked the pre-2007 model better than the new Officer's model. Still waiting on a stainless ceramic Daytona...
...so I got the white gold instead. Oh boy, was that the right call. Incoming below.I've got to say, the WG Daytona on Oysterflex is the perfect juxtaposition of old and new. It embodies everything that made the classic Daytona a smashing hit and wrapped it up into a 21st century package. The weighting and fit of this watch is absolutely perfect - it's heavier than one might imagine. It literally fit my 7 wrist perfectly right out of the display case with no adjustment. The OysterFlex bracelet is the most comfortable Rolex bracelet I've ever worn, hands down.And the dial...oh man. Quite possibly the best modern Daytona dial to date. It can vary from silver to a more gold hue, depending on the lighting. The black panda subdials and ceramic bezel create the perfect contrast to the light dial. Also, even though this watch is gold, it is so extremely versatile. You really don't need to worry about scratching the bezel or bracelet, which leaves just a few surface areas exposed.
