Seiko Sawtooth on Super Oyster II Bracelet
My Seiko Sawtooth is perhaps one of my most frequent companion. When I bought it, it was on Rubber Strap as I found that the original Seiko bracelet had too much bling then I care for. So I am glad there are now different high quality options in the market like Watchadoo, Mesh and Super Oyster II. My Super Oyster II arrived yesterday and here are some photos and comments on it. This bracelet is 26mm and tapers to 20mm at deployant. It is solid 316L with Solid End Links. The Deployant is unsigned and without diver extention. The sides of the bracelet are mirror polished with screw in pins. The only complaint I have with the Super OysterII are their Solid End Link's fit. I had to file the SEL to fit before the spring bars could aligned at the Sawtooth lugs. Its Here! New Audemars 15400
So my new 15400 I serial is finally here after a long and painful weekend. Its even more beautiful than I ever would have thought. Here are a few quick pics from my phone. Also I have a quick question about the clasp. In all the pictures I have seen, the clasp has an AP logo above the words Audemars Piguet but this one doesnt have that logo. Incoming first Omega!!
After I got my first Rolex a few months back I became really interested in some other watches as well, and decided that I wanted to make a Speedmaster my next purchase. Thanks to a great income tax refund, this morning I had the pleasure of opening my first FedEx package with an Omega in it! I picked up a Speedy Moonwatch from DavidSW, whoever owned this watch previously took really great care of it, I couldn't be happier with my new-to-me watch! Possible discount on 5712's?
I am going to order one monday from the Paris boutique, was wondering if a discount was a possible thing or if it's no use to mention it?Since in many boutiques, Panerai for example, they look at you when you ask for one as if you were crazy, if it's the same thing with PP better to avoid than to get the cold shower answer: Non Monsieur, Patek philippe does not do discounts, with that special tone of voice, where you have the impression the guy is thinking you are buying a 20K + watch and you want a discount? How very cheap of you¡­Went there just one time they were quite courteous, since there was nobody we talked about watches with the salesman and I tried a few, quite nice, whereas in some boutiques the experience was terrible, again Panerai for example, you feel like a homeless who came in to ask for a few bucks by the way they talk to you, I don't know in the US but here some boutiques and AD's are awful whereas some are great.The worse is in Ukraine where I live, in luxury watch
