Invicta 6145 wrist watches news:
I would not normally bring up a subject like this but my wife recently brought it up and I must say I tend to agree with her views. Last month I was lucky enough to purchase 3 watches - An I.W.C. Pilots Chronograph and aGlashutte Original Senator Navigator for myself and a Bi-metal Rolex Datejust for my wife. The two watches that I purchased for myself were presented in beautifully crafted boxes which made them seem special. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the Rolex box which to put it frankly is extremely cheap and nasty. I was amazed at this because Rolex put so much emphasis on image. I know we all just take the watch out of it's box and put it away but when one gives an expensive gift the least you should be able to expect is quality packaging. Judging by the number of "incoming" posts showing pictures of the various stages of opening the box a lot of other members of the forum must feel the same.
Being primitive - and maybe cheap - I never use a watch travel box. First, I don't ever want to check my watches with my luggage (Trust No One) and secondly they just take up too much room.So I wrap my watches in socks and bring 'em in my carry-ons.How about you?
IĄŻve been enjoying my Speedy for the last few days. It used to get a lot of wrist time but lately it hasnĄŻt gotten the attention it deserves. I think IĄŻll be wearing it all week to reconnect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am new to this watch collecting thing but the last 6 - 7 months I've collected a few time pieces from Rolex to Seiko automatic. I am looking to get one Penarai watch 42 mm, in-house movement, popular and reliable, must be automatic with strap leather. I am completely clueless with PAM serial system, I've look at Panerai Luminor 1950 but would like to learn more about this brand before I take a plunge. Do you have any advice for the newbie? Any trusted seller on here you recommend? Thanks in advance.
Does anybody know if the dials on a datejust II fit on a datejust 41? Thank you.
