....Poor Jerry, I have been swamping him with huge groups of watches since I got back to Michigan .....and of course, as this has been the un-snowiest winter in a long time, he has been busy busy busy.....( and I think there's some internet work being done, so folks are finding out about them) .........anyway....I got this group back yesterday, and got them polished up, and found the right bands for them ............first up is this Movado Kingmatic.......( if anyone knows how old this watch is I would 'preciate finding out......)a silver dial, with just a few faint spots on the dial ......you might remember that I got this watch in a group that I paid $20 for .....yippeee ! ............there's a Wittnauer and a nice 23 jewel Bulova here that I am selling for someone else....but since they're so pretty I thought you guys might like to see them too............ok maybe later ....photobucket is being it's usual obnoxious self ......*goes off mumbling to herself about PB*
Hello, I am considering purchasing a Omega Ladies 38mm speedmaster and selling my Rolex No Date Sub. The reason I would purchase the ladies 38mm speedmaster is that although I am a male I have a very small wrist under 6.5 inches. The Ladies speedmaster fits perfectly, actually it fits better than my sub. My question is would any of you sell the sub to purchase the speedmaster? I don't think I need two sport style watches. Any suggestions would be appreciated. By the way, I am considering the Ladies 38mm speedmaster with the steel bracelet black bezel and gray dial. Thank you in advance for your opinons.
So I did the unthinkable. After enjoying my watch for a year and a half, al all of the scratches along with it, I got it polished after a series of superficial scuffs caused by getting my dog out of the carI took it to a well known ad in town and this is what I got back. Something isn¡¯t quite right to my eye. I have a sinking feeling I am going to need to send this off to get corrected. What do you all think? Where should I send it if it needs to be corrected? Do I leave well enough alone?I instructed them to only do the band and not the watch itself.
