Invicta 14723 wrist watches news:
I've just bought my very own Constellation, needless to say this is my second Omega in less than four weeks and the thought scares me, have I been bitten? I love the vintage look but at the same time the chances of getting a fake is exponentially high, so I did my homework. Ive pretty much read all articles by Desmond () and gulped posts containing the word constellation in it. Took me a week. Armed with what I have, I battled and this is my result;Omega Constellation Pie Pan, serial 17XGold capped SS case,551 movement14381-11 sc case numberbuckle signed Omega, although maynot be the original.I think, from what I know everything goes nicely together, apart from the crown and the second hand, second hand seems a tad short? and the crown I think is for the 505 series? although it could have been used in the early 551s.Please let me know your opinion on this purchase.
I had some issues that kept me otherwise occupied (nothing horrible - marriage, home, job, etc. still all good), but I'm back to announce a couple of new arrivals.I made a mistake and sold my previous Maurice LaCroix Automatique Rectangulaire, but this one came up, new, for a price I couldn't resist. It's a little different than the one I had before, but I like this one better, so it worked out in the end.The second is a Tissot Ballade III Automatic. This is a great looking watch that looks far, far better in person. The guilloche dial doesn't really photograph well (particularly in stock photos...)For now, all I have is stock photos, but I'll try to get some of my own up in the near future.product_thumb.php.jpegpt6137_ss001_32e-big1_220_400.jpgpt6137-ss001-32e.jpg
Hello!Me again, with yet another question.Which of these two timepieces is a better purchase.I¡äve heard that all MKII watches are timed in 6 positions beforeshipping, but i¡äm not so sure if they loose this precision after their firstservice (provided by an average watchmaker not Bill Yao himself).I know that one of the strong points in the PRS-14 is the Fricker caseand the antimagnetic properties.Anyway, i like both, but i wanted to know your opinions.(Pics borrowed from the TimeFactors site and another forum member)Thanks!!MMTHE PRECISTA PRS-14THE MKII STINGRAY
Good Day All,I am trying to find a watch to go with my AP Volcano, this guy;My daily beater is a PAM 114.I want something for the weekends but I don¡¯t mind a bit dressy also, I want this watch to be something real nice that can be keep in the family and pass down, this will be my last watch for a long time if not forever. I am going to take a long time to think this purchase over and not pull the trigger fast.I am looking at1.AP 15300 (white dial), I would get this new from an AD.2.AP ROO Safari, I would get this used from a trusted seller on TRF.3.AP Diver, I would get this new from a AD.4.AP Jumbo, I would order this new from a AD (1-2 year wait)5.AP ROC (White or Panda dial), I would get this used from a trusted seller on TRF.6.Save for a ROO Bee (1-2 years) I would get this new from an AD but would have to save up for a long time (1-2 years).7.Panerai 233, I would pick that up new from a local AD.8.Rolex Daytona SS (white dial) , I would pick that up new from a local AD.9.Patek Aqu
I recently purchase a 2015 Rolex Daytona TT with a blue dial. The watch looks great in pictures but I couldn't get into the two tone. So I decided to part with it. I also looked at my collection and decided my JLC Master Calendar wasn't seeing much wrist time so I sold her as well.I picked up this beautiful 5726. I was initially torn between this and the bracelet but decided on the strap as I like the contrast a little better. As a note- I do own a Patek Philippe gold pocket watch that belonged to my wife's great grandfather. I had it serviced by PP and was able to pull from their archives. My wife's mother left it to me after she passed so it has a lot of sentimental value... As does PP!
