Invicta 11282 wrist watches news:
I have not seen much on this model when looking in the forum. Is the Speedmaster date a good watch or is just viewed as the lowly entrylevel watch that gets no respect?
...any advice before I take the plunge?
Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum but not to Omega watches. I was hoping to get some input on a purchase I'm about to make from a long time established watch & jewelry store in my area. I was looking for a watch for my wife when I stumbled upon a deal, apparently this dealer may stop carrying Omega and they are having a bit of an unadvertised sale on in stock Omegas for existing clients. The watch I found would be for me and the details are as follows; 60% off on the PO Chrono, here is the link .. OMEGA Watches: Seamaster Planet Ocean Chrono - Steel on steel - 2210.51.00. They only have one, it's brand new, they also have a few speedmasters and one other SM at 50% off. Bottom line is they had my watch for sale for $6200 and my price before tax will be $2480. I know it's a good deal but is it a "great" deal? I say this because I'm sure it can be found at retailers online for a discounted price. I'm not pumping this up, I'll post a oil if the receipt after I pick it upNeedless
Well I just ticked off a few boxes on my scorecard!Vintage? Check!American? Check! (at least I think so...)Both firsts for me. After Adam so kindly pointed this out on the beginner's forum, I picked up a great Waltham for cheap on the fleabay. Here's a couple of seller's pics. I'll add my own soon!Check out that box!I love the textured dial, the shape of the hands, and the numeral font!-Mark
I want a diver watch to put on the Bond(Blk & Gry) NATO strap. I'm leaning toward the Seiko Monster and was curious if anybody has put this watch on a NATO strap. If so how did it go? How does it look? Please post pics if you have them. Thanks!
