GMT-C & Grand Canyon & Rubber B
In July 2011, I took my GMT-C along with a Rubber B strap to spend 7 days on the Grand Canyon floor. I chose to take a Rubber B because on an earlier two day trip four years ago, I noticed pitting in the clasp from the gritty Colorado River water. Let's Have a Serious Discussion - What Would You Do To Fix Rolex?
OK, we all love Rolex in this forum - that much is a given. And the title of this thread sounds like I'm suggesting that Rolex is "broken" and that suggestion is highly debatable - I'm not really interested in having the debate. Assume instead for a moment that Rolex is at something of a crossroad - their market has changed dramatically in less than 24 months due to the economy, they have a new leader at the helm, and quite possibly a big gaping hole in the Wilsdorf Foundation trust fund courtesy of Bernie Madoff. Perhaps Rolex needs to do nothing. Perhaps Rolex needs to change radically. What do you think?

Location names on bezel of Seiko world timer
Can someone tell me if there is any significance to the placement of the names of locations on the bezel of world timer watches, specifically the Seiko Coutura?For example, London/GMT are at 12:00, Cairo is at 1:00, and Los Angeles is at 8:00.When it is 12:00 in London, it is not 1:00 in Cairo, nor is it 8:00 in L.A. (that was my first guess as to the placement, but obviously that's not it.)Any insight will be appreciated!

So much better looking in real life than the photos can ever portray.I really like it and am surprised there doesn't seem to be much love for these on the forums? Or maybe my searching fu in not working very well!Seriously thinking of purchasing one, it's got the 3313 movement, which is a self-winding chronograph movement with column wheel mechanism and co-axial escapement .I trust this movement is now rock solid after initial problems years ago?Anyone know any more info about this watch and any potential problems with it?Any reason why/ why not to get one?Anyone own one? Replacing a bracelet
I was just wondering if there are places to buy the new style oyster bracelet for submariners as a replacement if they were to break or be too worn down, or if the service centres can do them. Thanks.
