- The watch itself is lovely, but I could not read the time on the watch part and the strap kept coming loose on one edge or the other.

Invicta 14059 wrist watches news:
The Phillips Geneva Watch Auction Two has just concluded and we’re here to bring you our analysis of the sale. The auction resulted in 95% of lots being sold and brought in a total of 27,844,575 CHF (which is about the same in U.S. Dollars) versus a pre-sale estimate of 13.7 million to 24.8 million CHF. Let’s take a look at some of the most interesting results of the sale. 1 OF 20 Phillips' Geneva Watch Auction Two Lot 112 – F.P. Journe Tourbillon Souverain, platinum, 1999: 269,000 CHFAs far as I know, this is the only “Souscription” Journe to ever come up at auction. As such there was no precedence for where this watch, the ninth watch made by F.P. Journe since launching Montres Journe, would sell. The result was quite strong, but not that surprising given just how important this watch is, and how hot Journe is right now. 2 OF 20 Lot 112 ¨C F.P. Last Friday I was able to acquire a SS bracelet for the 3711 Doppelchronograph to replace a non OEM leather strap. The beads of rice SS bracelet is what was originally on this beauty. It is wonderful to restore this relatively rare Doppel with the bracelet that was on it initially. With each day I am more amazed at the different looks one gets of the dial through the domed crystal. This watch is a real keeper. As noted in previous posts, this one was only made from 1993 to 1995. It was replaced by the classic 3713.Enjoy the new look,Bill
I picked this up over the weekend. I'm not quite sure if this is a true Curvex or a pre-Curvex model. It looked to be in good shape and was a decent price so I couldn't pass it up. It has the 500 calibre movement and my guess is it's from possibly the mid-thirties? The engraving on the case made it seem more like a transitional style as tastes moved more for the cleaner lines and simpler watches of the 1930's.
Mornin all, juat wondering if anyone knew about the duromat 25 jewel automatics? I have one no dial just clean working movement and have no idea what kind of watch it is from. Any ideas would be helpful, I just wanted to know what dial and hands to put on it? it has a day/date as well.
Picked up some nice cufflinks recently to go with my LVc. Think they work nicely together.
