Invicta 17134 wrist watches news:
15 March 2014 marks a memorable day for our small group of six AP enthusiasts who had a few FIRST on this wonderful Saturday. Coming from different backgrounds, professions and a wide age gap from 20s to 60s, our budding friendship grows from the initial acquaintance through online watch forums to a lively mobile chat group, all connected by a common enthusiasm in one of the most prestigious Haute Horlogerie brands: Audemars Piguet. It was our FIRST GTG and although we are no big collectors, the watches and goodies shared among the group were fascinating enough we almost forgot a date with the AP boutique!Of course, our first AP GTG would not be complete without a visit to the boutique. So when the Speedy Tuesday came out and at about 8AM that morning, I was already going at the Omega website trying to secure one but was too late to the party. Needless to say, I was pretty bummed.Fast forward to January and I met buddy Mehrdad (Sarir97) here at TRF and knowing he may not want to keep his allocation, I wrote him and asked if he would sell the watch to me. The man is a complete gentleman and as cool of a fellow WIS you can meet. Mehrdad said sure and he would sell me the watch. I offered to pay a small premium to thank him for his generosity, the man said no need. I said, can I buy Peter Luger Steaks for the family? He said, no and no worries. All he asked for was a nice wrist shot seeing me enjoying the crap out of this beauty.Well, 7 months later, the man kept his word and it is just unbelievable. Buddy Mehrdad, this shot is for you and I can not thank you enough! Here she is... Speedy Tuesday on a fitting Tuesday arrival:
