After that it starts loosing 2-3 secs daily till it gets to the point where it stays at -12secs no matter what;) It has been always running at -12 secs steady .is it accurate?i have the cosc certification . Darkheart has joined us here in the Omega Forum as my new moderating partner. Let's give him a warm welcome! Personally, I'm looking forward to more pics of his Speedmaster Racing edition. I'd also like to thank diamondgirl for her time with us. She decided to step down due to personal time constraints, but we'll miss her. Thanks Steph!

When I bought my Oris Williams F1 back in 2005, I was told by the dealer that I should have it serviced every three years. I was told that I could expect the service to run between $300 and $400.Yesterday, I was looking at it on my wrist, mildly impressed that the time displayed matched up with the time on my iPhone, and it dawned on me: I've owned this thing over ten years and I've never had it serviced (I've actually never had any of my watches serviced). I've kept it on a winder for the majority of its life and it runs like a champ. Had I gone with the dealer's recommendation, in two more years I'd be sending it in for its fourth service. Even if the cost of the service was at the low end of the dealer's guess, and was $300.00, in two years I'd be hitting the $1,200.00 mark in service fees.I only paid a grand for the watch. Is maintenance on automatic watches over-rated? Is it better to pay a repair bill than regular maintenance fees?Discuss...
