A few minutes ago a PP 18K yellow gold buckle sold on auction site we all know very well for $705. 14mm size. Another sold last week for $611 and still another sold last month for $137. The only difference I could see was the one for $137 also had AW engraved on it. The all 3 were engraved 0.750 Swiss Depose P.P.Co. I am very curious why the big difference in price for one with the added AW engraving?Thanks,DS

While doing the bi-annual clean-up of my Photobucket accounts I came across some pics of watches that once graced my collection. I'd have to say of all the ones that have moved on to new homes, these are the ones I wouldn't mind owning again.Tiffany's Mark Coupe:I know, I know.it's a Tiffany product with an ETA 2892-A2 for crying out loud. But it was one of my favorite dress watches and just had an air of class. It's place in the rotation was filled by the Blancpain Villeret which is safe to call an upgrade. Funny it has the word pain in the name brand, because it does ease the pain of the decision to sell the Mark Coupe. AP Survivor NOT WORKING
Hey everyone,I just joined to get your guys' advice/input on this problem I've encountered.I have a AP Survivor and for some reason it won't work. I try to wind it and it still doesn't work. Nothing is working on it.. I press the pusher buttons and still nothing.The last time I wore the watch was a few months ago, and unfortunately I don't use a watch winder. So I imagine it died on its own as per usual, but this time I can't even get it to work anymore.I've had it for a few years now, so don't think I have warranty. Don't really care what it costs to get it working again, I just want it to work. Any ideas what could have gone wrong? I store it in room temperature in a closed watch container, and it didn't go under water or freeze or anything of the sort. It's never been dropped, it's still mint.I'm in Vancouver, Canada. Need advice what to do or where to send it. I bought it from Luxury Baazar website a while ago.

2017 Railmaster Inbound
So only after seeing pics on Saturday of the 2017 non le Railmaster, I now have one on it's way which should arrive tomorrow on my 25th birthday. First Omega for me and almost certainly my most impulsive purchase too Pics inbound when it arrives.

First world problem complaining about BLNR
I've owned the watch for 2.5 years now and enjoy it for the most part. Just wanted to share some weak points that prospective buyers might not be aware of as, imho, the watch is held to a higher standard here than it deserves:- Lug edges are pointy and sharp, feel unfinished- Chamfers on top of lugs are almost non-existent. I always liked shiny chamfers on my Rolex- Brushing of mid-case on top of lugs is straight, no longer brushed diagonally toward the midlinks - Quite frequently, the crown gets stuck in 2nd position when trying to pull out to 3rd position/hacking the movement. This has been widely discussed on this forum. It has not 'loosened' up over time so far. Usually winding it a few more times helps. Will have this addressed when it's going in for service in a few years.- Lume is fairly weak, only bothers me when I'm flying overnight and the lights are off in the cabin- In addition to the above, the GMT arrow is extremely hard to find when it's dark.
