Early Hamilton 3-Piece Cases
Which early Hamilton Watches had 3-piece cases? I know that early Cushions has a removable front bezel, the the case, the a removable case back. I believe Barrels were the same?Are Piping Rocks, Spurs, and Coronados also 3-piece cases? Specifically, on a Piping Rock, how does one access the dial? Is it through the crystal, or by removing the front of the case, or is it through the back of the case? I believe it is either option 2 or option 3 since I think PR's had glass crystals.Thanks!

I am very excited. Got some tools now. Horotec swiss tools are expensive but being swiss, you know your quality is there. Got the caseback opener which is made in HK, but does good enough work. Has anyone tried a 5164A with a 5167 steel bracelet?I love my 5164A with the tropical strapBut sometimes I might want to dress the watch upI am curious if others have tried this and if people have any thoughts(Of course the tropical would always be the main strap I'd use on the aquanaut)Thanks everyone

5167 Bracelet Question
I have decided that the 5167 is the right Patek for me. I have been going back and forth between the 5167 and the 5711, but had never seen the 5711 in person. My local dealer called yesterday to tell me he had a 5711 that just came in and I could have it if it spoke to me. I went to see it and I am happy to say liked the dial on the 5167 better. I am glad I had this opportunity, it confirms my decision.The dealer has the 5167 in stock with the bracelet, and said that he would give me the rubber strap and deployment at no charge if I went with the bracelet version. My question is to those that have the 5167, have you ever wished you had the bracelet, is it worth the extra $3,000.
