Last week we showed you some highlights from the Phillips November sale, and now we're back with a few highlights from the Christie's sale. The absolute highlight of this sale is a Patek Philippe perpetual calendar from 1954 – reference 2497 – but this isn't your average 2497. No, this is a fresh to market example, with a never before seen black gilt dial and luminous hands. It's likely one of a kind, and it belonged Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie. Breitling party
Well I just got home from the Breitling party. The new pres. of Breitling, Phillipe, was there and they had about 150 timepieces including all of the 2008 models that have not gotten into full circulation yet. The dinner was very nice with only about 25 guests invited. They had all the watches out on tables so you could just walk around and try on anyone you like, such as a 200k Flying B. I had my eye on the chronomatic 49mm. It was not that impressive to me online but in person it is a very nice watch!!! Sorry about the horrible pics guys, my camera phone was all I had

The Traveler seemed to drift into town without any advance notice. I don't recall reading about it being shown at Basel. I like the looks of this one. Very clean and simple. Do you really need a GMT to tell you what city you are in as long as it tells you what time it is?What do you think of this one?

14060M purchase. Condition opinions please
Hey guys.Just picked up this 14060M. Came with full box, papers, booklets, hang tags. Even receipts of its service in 2009.I always like to get a few extra pairs of eyes when picking up a pre owned watch and this forum has been a huge help so far.I specifically like to know the opinions on the watches overall case condition.
