Hi guys. I tried to post this in the technical forum, but it seems that I don't have enough posts to do that.I have a DOXA 1000T Divingstar with an ETA 2824-2 movement, 1 year old. I have been hand winding the watch a lot, which I now know is something that you shouldn't really do. You should just shake the watch a little and then wear it.So what has happened is that last week when I was hand winding the watch, the watch started to vibrate. Strap suggestions for 5170-010.
Hello Everyone.As mentioned earlier, I recently acquired the 5170 with black dial (white seconds hand). I really do not like the shiny black strap on it and wanted to know what the group here thinks would be a good option...I'm planning on ordering a custom strap and not OEM from Patek so any colour combination is possible. 1. Matt Black with Black stitching main difference is going from shiny to matt which would match the opaline (matt) black dial better and dress it down.2. Matt Black with White (or Silvery) stictchiing which gives it a more sporty look and also ties in the white of the seconds hand. 3. Something totally different??? What would you suggest.I was leaning towards going with Matt Black with White stitching at first but a good friend said that it might draw away attention to the already nice white seconds hand instead of complimenting it.Would love to know what everyone things or would suggest.
