Invicta 1539-3BB wrist watches news:
Hi guys. I tried to post this in the technical forum, but it seems that I don't have enough posts to do that.I have a DOXA 1000T Divingstar with an ETA 2824-2 movement, 1 year old. I have been hand winding the watch a lot, which I now know is something that you shouldn't really do. You should just shake the watch a little and then wear it.So what has happened is that last week when I was hand winding the watch, the watch started to vibrate. So I looked around the net and found this:mwrforum.net/forums/showthread.php?p=82511This sounds just like what was happening to my DOXA. So I took the watch to a local watchmaker, I didn't want to send the watch back to Switzerland for warranty, (cost of shipping, and I'm very worried about losing the watch in transit.)Anyways, the guy called me back today and said that he needs to replace the Reverse Wheels. That was all he said that he found was wrong with the watch. The cost is $60.00.So my question is: Do any of you guys know that if the
Hey Guys, This will be my first post. I have been "stalking" WTF site for some time. I am just getting back into the swing of purchasing watches. I currently have 20+ watches. Some are in their boxes that they came with, others are on a plastic stand that are used in the brick and mortar stores. I have always wanted a watch valet / storage that can hold my watches. I am eventually going to pull the trigger on a glass display case from the swedish furniture store. But I would still want to have my watches all in one location. So Long story short, can I get a look at how / where you store your watches? ThanksRyan
Hi,Looking for the exact leather strap as show in pic. I found it on one of the forums and love the combo.Any help is appreciated.Thx
Finally my first Patek incoming. Was originally thinking about getting a Nautilus but tried one on at a local AD they are just too large for my tiny 6 inch wrist. Turned out really well though as I saw this 5146g on TRF. Worked the deal out with Takuya really smooth trade and received it today. The cream dial looks even better in person than the pictures. What to get next?
Hello Everyone. As mentioned earlier, I recently acquired the 5170 with black dial (white seconds hand). I really do not like the shiny black strap on it and wanted to know what the group here thinks would be a good option...I'm planning on ordering a custom strap and not OEM from Patek so any colour combination is possible. 1. Matt Black with Black stitching main difference is going from shiny to matt which would match the opaline (matt) black dial better and dress it down.2. Matt Black with White (or Silvery) stictchiing which gives it a more sporty look and also ties in the white of the seconds hand. 3. Something totally different??? What would you suggest.I was leaning towards going with Matt Black with White stitching at first but a good friend said that it might draw away attention to the already nice white seconds hand instead of complimenting it.Would love to know what everyone things or would suggest.
