Invicta 10782 wrist watches news:
I need a few extra links for my X-Wind, previous owner's wrist was small and he misplaced the extra links. Can I order these links from an AD or do i need to buy a whole new bracelet. Anyone know?On a side note, anyone have a GOOD hamilton dealer in the Washington DC metro area that really knows the product and is competent when it comes to service and repair?
I have been away for a while and thought i should jump on the Hamilton forum and post my first thread here I Know its not a watch, but a pocket watch though i do have a few old wrist Hammies in the safe First shot with its ORIS friend (and yes, you guys can all come post over at the ORIS forum too )Elgins on the top, Hamiltons on the bottom .......Some nice details ........Just love the red It takes guts And no, i dont know much about it at all ......but it is beautiful and needs a good cleaning.
Well it's my girlfriends birthday this month, march 27th to be exact, I bit the bullet and bought her a necklace with her birthstone centered on a 14 karot necklace chain. The grand total $557.79. This was money I had set aside for my Dievas Oceantimer 1330, blue dial of course. Ahhhhhh what are you gonna do, if she's not happy, no one is happy. She's worth it, I love her with all my heart, she has been with me for 3 years now, and stuck by my side and always been there. For christmas it was pearls, for our anniversey it was some diamond earings. And for our two year anniversy it was a Skagen watch. And she says I have a watch problem.
As promised, photos of my Audemars Piguet Lady Royal Oak once I got it back. Totally in love with it. Enjoy. :)
About three months ago, I purchased a 1999 Submariner date from an estate sale. The owner was an older gentleman who had quite a watch collection. He was selling a few other watches and I noticed that they all come with services records. Come to find out that the sub was never serviced. It keeps pretty good time but gains around six minutes a month. The watch also looks great save for a tiny crack in the pearl on the bezel. I don't go diving with it and visually the tiny water proofing bands on the crown look ok. Should I be worried and run out to service it or just enjoy it since it seams to be doing fine. Soon it will be 20 years old without a service or a polish.
