End Links for an Omega Bracelet
I own an Omega Constellation, case ref. 168.029, cal. 751. The watch belonged to my father and has been sitting in a box for 35 years. The original stainless steel bracelet had been taken off, and the end links were lost. On the back of the clasp it is stamped with the number 1167 and the Omega logo. I have not been able to find reference to this bracelet or the proper end links for it. I tried talking to Otto Frei. They had no listing for it. I called the Omega Service Center in NJ. They were no help either. According to my repairman both the watch and bracelet are original. Otto Frei indicated the stamp should look like this: 1503/825 with the last three numbers indicating the end link. However, my bracelet does not conform to this format. The end piece should be 19mm.So what do you think? Any idea what end link will fit my bracelet? And where I can find two? Thanks for your help.Chris

State of my Seiko collection
BackgroundSome years ago Seiko produced some large watches that the aficionados of the brand affectionately called Big Freaking Seikos or BFS. These were regular movement cased in 44mm steel cases with 24mm lugs. I actually liked them a lot and managed to get two of them. However when in my hands, while I loved the dial design, I was not thrilled about the case shape, it was not quite comfortable for me and I was not crazy about the the looks. I ended up selling both of them. But kept admiring the dial design.Present timeSome months ago I was able to find a source for these dials and got them, one at the time, slowly as finances permitted. While doing this I started looking at a possible case that would match or at least look good with thos dials. I could not tell Seiko to make a new case for me so I had to choose between what was available. While Seiko does not make large cases generally I found some that at 42mm were at least not too small for me. These were watches made in

I found a Bulova Super Compressor at a garage sale in "excellent" condition. I put on a new band and listed it on ebay. I'm getting some high offers to end the auction. Any advice at what range I might accept one? I'm really struggling to find one for sale or sold on the internet. Hi guys,I am not a regular poster in this forum, but have lurked for a while. I have owned one Patek Philippe watch, a 6000g, back around 2006-2007, then sold it on after a year.Finally bought my long time wanted Patek Philippe, paying roughly 2.5 times what I bought my 6000g for, and I should have it tomorrow. This (5712r) or That (5980r)?
With which piece would you round out this collection, removing price from the equation? The collection consists of the Platona and the SD4k. If I move forward with one of the below, I would flip my 5712/1a towards it. I've surprised myself; my tastes have changed over the past several years, and I now am drawn to a rose gold watch, something I didn't think would happen. Part of the appeal is the rose gold with brown leather strap, so a full-on rose (or yellow) gold watch (i.e. including bracelet) is not in the running. While I love the moonphase of the 5712/1a and the microrotor, and I have a chrono in the Platona, is the 5980r the clear winner? They definitely wear differently, so any feedback by owners is welcome! I truly find both amazing pieces, and sadly () both speak to me!
