Audemars Piguet 15320OR.OO.D093CR.01 wrist watches news:
The last few years have been a bit of a revitalization period for Swiss Ebel watches. The prominent brand was growing a bit staid, and it needed some new exciting watches, especially men's watches. So it brushed the dust off of it's classic hexagon case (you know, it roughly has six sides), and started releasing some new models. The new and larger watches are typified by the case shape and five screws, often with then faceted hands. The good looks of the watches combined with some serious marketing efforts have really helped Ebel out. One of the things that I really like about their designs is the simplicity. A few of the watches are a bit more "out there" in appeal, but this Classic Hexagon GMT watch really epitomizes simple good looks. Seeing the watch itself is the true convincing element to appreciating the timepiece. The case is slightly rounded not to look flat, and the size of the larger version is impressive. Further, the polish and finish (bezel and much of the face are polish
In addition to the Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar, A. Lange & Söhne has decided to add a white-gold 38.5 mm version of the Lange 1 to the collection. The Lange 1 is already available in pink gold, yellow gold, and platinum. 1 OF 2 The new Lange 1 was released at SIHH in 2015, and was one of our favorite releases from last year. It was completely rebuilt with two changes to the dial: a thinner bezel and a slightly less pronounced “A” on the dial signature. They also added a new caliber movement, the L.121.1 manual winding movement with a 72-hour power reserve. The watch you see here is still the same with the exception of the white gold and added lume to the hands, which will surely be a big hit. 2 OF 2 Check back here for pricing and more photos, and for more information on A. I got a Master Collection Moonphase Chronograph (L2.673.4.78.3) two days ago. I love how it looks, really ellegant. The problem is that after using the chronograph function a couple times, the seconds hand won't go back to zero (12 o'clock). After trying if it worked after a few more tries, all it happened is that the "new zero" keeps on moving forward clockwise (chronograph now resets almost at 1 o'clock). Can anyone help me? I just hope I don't have to take it for a service after two days of using it! :S(the second pic shows where the seconds hand goes when I reset the chrono)
Yes, it's getting close to that time - the End of Year State of the Collection threads! Pictures are a plus but not necessary. Whether you have a list or not, it's all about the changes you made in 2009....and judging by July & November there's a lot. I guess we'll start sometime around Christmas so be ready. This will be the first time I kept track - well, I tried. It's not as terrible as I thought, but I still have that nagging feeling I left one or two off my records. Did you keep a list? Do you flip enough to bother? Or do you flip so much it's not feasible to keep track? (drster & Sharky need not answer the last question on the grounds they may incriminate themselves ).
I bought my 116000 OP around 18-months ago on the strength of the clean blue dial, simple 3-6-9 markers and brushed case/ bracelet. However, out of the box it was always just that bit too tight. An extra link was too much so it didn't get too much wrist time - even though when it did I was getting almost +/-0 spd on accuracy. The other week I saw Watchfinder advertising the Rolex Half Link on eBay as also fitting the OP 116000 so took the plunge for ¡ê25.00.What a difference it makes to the comfort of the watch on the wrist. What puzzles me is quite why Rolex won't make it available via AD's to their customers or include it as standard on the OP without the EasyLink?10/10 to the Watchfinder team for their help in getting me sorted out!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
