Dear Rolex-Fans,today I would like to bring the Turn-O-Graph into the focus. Following please find the different versions and references from the beginning of the 70ies. In 1970 the Rolex-Program shows:Turn-O-Graph, ref. 1625/x, caliber 1575, without quickset of the date, plexi crystal. The following references were available:Steel/Whitegold, Ref. 1625/4Steel/Pinkgold, Ref. 1625/33 (33=?)Stell/Yellowgold, Ref 1625/3Yellowgold, Ref. 1625/8Pinkgold, Ref. 1625/83 (83=?)The references in pinkgold were only available until approx. 1974. A Turn-O-Graph completely made out of whitegold similar to the resp. Datejust 1601/9 was not part of the manufacturing program. Interestingly the 1625 was equipped with a smaller winding crown (dia. 5.3 mm, no. 530) than the resp. Datejust 160x (dia. 6 mm, no. 600). Although the new caliber 3035 was introduced on the Datejust already 1978, the Turn-O-Graph was still delivered with the ¡°old¡± caliber 1575 until approx. 1981.Example of a ref. 1625/3:(Source: A
Gentlemen, I¡¯m considering consolidating my modest collection down and the above model checks many boxes. The rose Gold, steel, Blue dial, chrono function, bracelet and movement have my attention! I¡¯ve had a few PP over the years. My last PP was a 5960p which I sold several years ago and have been a Rolex guy since.Any feedback is welcome! With the Nautilus chrono, I¡¯m curious how this TT watch will age cosmetically? I¡¯d imagine the bezel would make my 116520 bezel seem bulletproof...Is the movement considered reliable? The PP website recommends 3-5 yr service intervals. I never seem to keep a watch long enough to need a service. I would hope this one will be a keeper. However with that said, does this model retain its value reasonably well? Buying from an AD versus Trusted seller and any potential warranty issues?Anything I need to know or anything you care to share? Thank you in advance!
The AD I bought my Rolex SubC also carries PP, but the Nautilus 5711/12 apparently up to 2 years?I'm in the MA area, anyone have any other ADs or route they might suggest? And what is the msrp for the 5712?I'm considering these vs a AP ROO but already have a 15400 and am selling quite a few other watches to help fund this, so feeling like Patek might be the way to go.
