- Great looking dress watch. Gives the appearance of a much more costly watch. Very comfortable to wear. I will share my positive experience with friends that shop online.

Day or night, doesn't matter - bumpers are cool. They're taking over as the prefered vintage Omega in my collection, and the bumper box got a new resident today. Here's the thread in the GDF describing my day this morning:.info/foru...orum/53271.htmAs promised, more pictures of this 1946 caliber 30.10 reference 2500:What a mess that crystal is! No worries, it'll go in the next batch for service and restoration, which will hopefully have it looking like this:picture by Mike / MSNWatch

Hi,I just registered to this very interesting forum Yesterday. I am a middle-range watch collector, however I have not used any particular guideline other than my budget and my mood to choose my watches...For example:My "posh" period (leather strap, slim, for being used with suits)- Raymond Weil, Tissot Heritage, Roamer, Baume et MercierMy "High Endurance" period (water resistant > 200mts) - Breitling Colt GMT, EDOX, Ball Egineer IIMy "non traditional materials" period - Ventura ego-matic (Titanox scratch proof), EDOX (Titanium, Ceramic, carbon), Rado Original (hardmetal)My "budget" period (inexpensive watches)- Swatch Diaphance automatic - 4 of themMy "non-traditional movements" period (othen than automatic)- Seiko Kinetic autorelay, Citizen eco-driveLast but not leastmy "Finaly I got a Rolex!" period- Rolex Air-King (the one with blue face and orange number) I really love this one.I wonder what's the criteria thay you dear watch collectors use for choosing the pieces you wanna get
Bought purely on its classic looks, and Omega's reputation in the 40s, 50s and 60s, a 1952 Seamaster with bumper winding and subsidiary seconds. I know nothing about these, any knowledge / comments would be appreciated..finewatchco/OmegaSeamasterSMT1010.html
Hello All: New member here but have visited the forum many times. Excellent. I am on the verge of trading my 5070g, with cash to boot, for a 5970R. I am also considering the original dial 5270g, as the prices have now fallen to level well below the 5970. I was hoping for some advice it general. I know these are very personal decisions but for me anyway, this is a significant amount of money. Thanks!
