going to purchase a Oris TT1 ¡°Coste¡± Diver Small Seconds 1000meters . Was looking for the limited edition but could not find one. What are your thoughts? I have a few Rolex and have had several others but with the price inflations and the lack of new models the Oris is catching my eye. Yesterday, after my new Longines Hydroconquest arrived by FedEx, I took it to one of my local hometown jewelers to have a couple of links removed from the bracelet. It has been a regular practice of mine because of their friendliness and the low price they charge for this service. Each time I go in to have one of my watch bracelets altered, I feel a tinge of guilt for never having actually purchased a watch from them. The store has a large selection of fine jewelry items (diamond and gemstone rings and such. But they also have a selection of Bulova, Accutron, and Caravelle watches, as well as Pulsar, Reactor, and Citizen. So, it was with this thought in mind that I went in yesterday to have my Longines bracelet sized. I new that oftentimes one can find certain models of a particular brand of watch in jewelry stores that one may not see in large department stores like Macy's, etc. So I thought I would see if this would be the case. After calling around to numerous AD's, the common theme sounds like the wait times is atleast a year for this piece. What about with a deposit, does this speed up the process anyway?
