Hey everyone,Its been a long time since I have posted on this forum having spent most of my time on a certain other forum. But I still have a special place in my heart for WTF, which was the first watch forum I joined (maybe 4 years ago, before the switch in web hosts) and the first place I started socializing with watch collectors. I hope to start posting here more often, and I am surprised at how much this placed has changed and grown. I would like to share with everyone my latest watch, straight from the mailman. This is my first vacheron and I am very impressed by the overall quality. I find it more comfortable then the AP 15300 and more attractive then the patek nautilus, all of which are comparable ss sports watches. I haven't owned a sports watch in many years, since I sold my SD and no date sub. I wanted something durable but a little different, and the overseas fit the bill. Thanks for reading guys and I hope to be seen around here more often!
So after acquired a mint condition ap greytheme I've tried to register the watch however the only thing I'm not sure if I put correctly is the location from the warranty card it says retailer stamp : Audemar piguet japan authorized retailer and the pay country is JP so what do I put when register my watch? Hello all, I have the opportunity to acquire this one from the 70'sCan anyone tell me if this a good dial or redone? Also are these chronographs easy to service? thanks
I just bought a fully adjustable two watch winder by Wolf, the 2.7.It looks like my Omega Seamaster Professional Chronograph, 3 dials with date at the bottom with sword hands, smooth black face, mid-2000's is my guess. Looks just like an America's Cup with the insignia, will want bi-directional winding at 650 turns. Can anyone confirm this ? I think I found the right information on the Orbita data base, but I want to make sure-My Breitling Navitimer will go clockwise at 800-Thanks
