Invicta 7021 wrist watches news:
Well, the Snowmegeddon Blizzard is just about upon us in Illinois right now (20" of snow on the way) so I started a case restoration project that should keep me busy for a few days. This is a size 0s, Nickel, Star Watch Case from the late 1920's probably. It had VERY bad gouges on the case back that were nearly .5mm deep in some places and the rest of the case was almost as bad. I am in the opening stages of sanding it down with Emery Cloth, closed coat, fine black paper. As you can see from the pictures I have most of the major gouges removed right now but it's still very course and rough. Quite a bit of sanding by hand still must be done then I will switch over to extra fine paper for awhile then onto the machine to smooth everything out. You can get this aggressive with nickel, silverode, silveroid and stainless steel cases. No dice on gold filled cases though or you will have to pay for re-plating and that gets VERY expensive, around $250.00. That is why I love nickel! It's still w
The 26320 is gaining more and more of my attention lately.Haven't been able to see one in the metal though. Just wanted to see who could share their experiences with new ROC.The more pics and opinions, the better.
I would first like to thank all of the AP enablers (Thomas, Dalip, Mike, Adam, Dan and the list goes on) for helping me decide to part with my funds for my first AP (all of your pics were killing me). Of course as always, I went to my ¡®local AD¡¯ (DavidSW) to find my new AP. Having owned Rolex for 20 years (lost count of how many have flipped, kept...well you know), last few years I really embraced Panerai (which I love), but something was always missing. I wanted to add something new to the collection, but wasn¡¯t sure just what. As usual, headed to TRF and let the madness begin on convincing myself on what I wanted . AP has been on my mind for quite a while and seems to be the next logical step for me. I have always been a believer in you get what you pay for. Thought I would start out with something ¡®simple¡¯, and see where the AP bug takes me . Really amazed by the quality, history and finish of AP. Ladies and gentlemen, now without further delay, I present my AP ROO Diver--(a
Does anybody have any pictures, experiences, or comments about Patek cufflinks?Do you any of you match patek cufflinks with patek watches?Do any of you think it is a bit to much to have both a watch and cufflinks with the calatrava cross or the nautilus shape? Is the price worth it?
Any information on that?Thx!
