Invicta 7497 wrist watches news:
The third edition of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Yearbook features the manufacture’s brightest stars of 2009. The Yearbook includes articles by leading authors and casts its spotlight on nature, music, filmmaking, and of course on watchmaking. The edition celebrates the 80th anniversary of Calibre 101, still the smallest mechanical movement ever made. It probes the Hybris Mechanica 55 trilogy, uniting 55 complications within three wristwatches. It takes you inside the Hybris Mechanica ¨¤ Grande Sonnerie, with 1300 parts capable of playing the entire Big Ben chime. Yearbook Three is available in English and French versions from all Jaeger-LeCoultre boutiques or at jaeger-lecoultre as of December 1.
Usually when big brands present co-branded watches, whether with fictional crime-fighting superheroes or prominent aviation firms, there tends to be a what is perhaps a fair amount?of eye-rolling on the part of watch enthusiasts. In essence, these co-branding exercises tend to be much more about quick marketing, buoyed by lots and lots of legal paperwork. I don't think that the Bulgari Octo Maserati is necessarily an exception to this rule, but there is undoubtedly something to say about the understated way that this old Italian brand continues its partnership?with, well, another old Italian brand ¨C Maserati ¨C to present a?limited edition timepiece in?celebration of their shared anniversaries in 2014. Plus, the use of a manufacture movement?and two old-world finishing techniques on the dial add a lot more substance to the package. 2 OF 8 A benchmark of Bulgari's watchmaking division, the Octo collection is known for its Art?Deco-influenced angular case design, seen here
Does anyone know how the SM 2220.80 differs from the 3531.80
HiI just received my second Illinois watch. An Ensign dated appx. to 1929. The watch runs great. I would like your opinion on restoring. I think a vintage watch should look its age. I would like the opinion of you Illinois veteran collectors.ThanksTony
Hey guys, first post here, just got myself a brand new SD4K and am very much enjoying it. But im just wondering whether its normal for the side of this end link to get scratched by the clasp whenever i adjust the glidlock? I know its fairly normal for links that are covered by the clasp to get scratched on the side (in fact already got some despite owning the watch for a day or so), but just not sure whether its normal for the glidelock end link to do so (seems a bit of a design flaw if taking it out to adjust cause scratches) Thanks everyone!
