Audemars Piguet 25721ST wrist watches news:
watches-dealer has just rolled out a new feature that we are pretty excited about. It's called "Ask watches-dealer Anything" and is our version of an "Ask Us Anything" page. The idea is to offer a page with reader-submitted questions that we choose to answer for everyone to read, available all the time. Just click "Ask" in the top navigation menu.Questions that we think are important and of interest to other readers will be chosen by our editorial team each week. If you have a question for a specific team member, then just include their name in the question. *Now, while we say we are here to answer anything, you know that isn't true. But of course, feel free to ask whatever you like. The idea is to help educate and inform the larger watch lover and novice community. For everything else you can use our regular CONTACT page. For years now, watches-dealer has receivedwell, a lot of e-mails from people with every type of question imaginable. People in Singapore seem to tend to think we sel
I am typically not one for celebrity gossip. As far as I am concerned, celebrities, for the most part, are just like you and me, but less intelligent, with more money, and with lots more free time on their hands. But when you combine watches and celebrities I get a bit interested, if not for sheer voyeuristic intentions. Here is a little enjoyable blog about celebrities and their Rolex watches. Some shots are glamorous, some are less than so. The bottom line is that these celebrities never seem to take their Rolex watches off. Don't be impressed however when a celebrity chooses to wear a Rolex. They sure are nice watches, but they are basically the default "nice watch." Sort of like "new money's first luxury watch." Never a bad choice, but not the only choice. Nevertheless, no true watch collection is complete without at least a handful of Rolex watches. Rolex sort of has you cornered like that, and celebrities too for that matter. What are some of the more interesting shots/stories at t

Hello all,Some time ago I did a post regarding a project I had done for my boss (Link). In that post I mentioned an Omega that he had given as well. The Omega required a bit more work and has gone back to the watchmaker a couple of times, but I think we are now in pretty good shape. Here is where we started - as best I can tell, this is a OT 14393 from 1960 or so. I did some poking around on the Omega website researching this and I am pretty sure that is the model we are looking at.As you can tell, it came on a 3rd party bracelet and was in pretty bad shape. The dial had already been (poorly) redone - they were a little sloppy in placement and with the amount of adhesive they used. One of the screws had lodged itself in the mechanism as well. Here is a better shot of the dial. You can see some of the misalignment. So, off to the watchmaker for some attention to the movement and the dial went off for refinishing. Nothing to worry about as far as originality as it had already been done
Morning folks!I was walking past a pawn shop in London yesterday and spotted this Omega in the shop window. The pawnshop owner wouldn't let me handle the watch and was sat behind a 4 inch thick glass window (guess he may have been bitten by previous experience). He did however hold up and show me the watch so I could take photos of it.Anyone know what kind of Omega this is? And if its genuine? I do like the look of it. https://ibb.co/fYKyEGhttps://ibb.co/jdQS8bhttps://ibb.co/ncfuobhttps://ibb.co/kXwdEGThanks!
