A rumor reported on our sister blog, Watch-Insider, this morning, has now been confirmed: Jean-Fr¨¦d¨¦ric Dufour, currently the CEO of Zenith, has been named the new global CEO for Rolex SA. An official start date for Dufour, who has been in his position at Zenith since 2009, has yet to be announced. Hey - Me Too - Incoming!
I recently found myself in the same position as one of our other members (see the WWYD post). Although, I am definitely in the minors compared to Dennis. But anyway, I stumbled upon a vintage IWC that I really liked. However, I also had some interest going on a Hamilton. Getting both was out of the question. I pinged some very helpful people and decided to let watch #1 go in hopes that I would get watch #2 A bit stressful, because you know - something that great will never come around again...So (sorry Dennis), I now have a vintage Hamilton Ross coming. I talked to a couple of people (thanks Tom) and did some research, this does appear to be one of the "rare" items where the word "rare" is used correctly on the 'bay.Without further ado - a couple of pics from the seller:I think I will be very happy with my "new" 1941 Ross!B

Oyster Perpetual V's Explorer 1
I'm currently considering either a Oyster Perpetual 116000 (No Date) or a Explorer 114270 both would be in stainless steel with black dial... they look fairly similar however I am I right in thinking they both use a 3130 calibre movement ? the internet is a bit of a minefield when it come to researching these things,Also is either better than the other.... many thanks H
